Clayton Homes Customer Becomes Part of the Team

After feeling called to the beautiful mountains of East Tennessee, Bonny and Alec left their home state of Maryland to find a home for their new life as a married couple. Bonny wasn’t expecting, however, to turn into an employee. Read about her journey.

In 2013, Bonny and Alec Taylor felt called back to Alec’s roots in Tennessee after driving through the mountains of East Tennessee during their honeymoon.

What the Taylors weren’t expecting, however, was to fall in love with a manufactured home as their future residence. While on a house hunt with their real estate agent, they happened upon Clayton Homes of Rogersville and decided to check it out. Home Consultant Harold Keller greeted them with a smile and showed them around a few of their home models.

“I never knew manufactured homes could be like this, you know?” said Bonny. “So, we took a look around and just couldn’t get over it.”

After touring a few homes with their real estate agent and considering their options, Bonny and Alec chose to purchase the Treyburn model from Clayton Homes of Rogersville. The Taylors were blown away by all the features and affordability this manufactured home had to offer. Their home contains four bedrooms, one of which serves as Alec’s home office, a walk-in closet and vanity space for Bonny, and a spacious kitchen to hold Alec’s slew of cooking gear.

Bonny loved her experience with Clayton so much it inspired her to begin helping others find their dream home! Six months after closing on her house, Bonny was asked to join the Rogersville team and her career with Clayton Homes began.

“It just led me to think, this is finally a product, a service I believe in,” said Bonny. “And the fact I could have a job bringing that to others, I thought, ‘I can do that.’”
